Weekly Challenge - 4

Hello guys! Today we interviewed our geography teacher Jorge Franco. We've  chosen him because he is our favorite teacher.

Well, Jorge is 29 years old, has two brothers and he also has a girlfriend named Rafaela. They are on a relationship since 2005 and he thinks its time to get married.

His favorite color is blue, he loves typical Minas food and he doesn't have any pets, but he would like to get a dog.  He likes to read, play his guitar and he loves to run...

If Jorge wasn't a geography teacher he would like to be a doctor because he loves to help people. He also said he could have chosen another job related to geography but he didn't about getting rich and he only wanted to make a difference. 

His favorite writers are Guimaraes  Rosa and Carlos Drummond. His biggest adventure was when he was young and he liked to travel without money. He is afraid of nothing and his biggest dream is to visit French Poland...

FUNK

  Funk is a music genre that originated in the mid-late 1960s in the United States when African American blended soul music, jazz and R&B into a rhythmic, danceable new form of music. Funk de-emphasizes melody and harmony and brings a strong rhythmic groove of electric bass and drums to the foreground.

Weekly Challenge - 1

So guys, the Glee Project is getting closer and we've chosen the song we are going to perform! We chosed "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction. It's a great song!

One Direction is a britain boyband that started career in 2010 by staying on 3rd place on the XFactor (british music competition).

After that, they got so popular that now they're one of the best pop artists of the world.

We chosed it cause its a very cool song and we thought it would be very interesting if girls singed it instead of boys, like One Direction.

Hey guys,

you must be wondering what is the Glee Project, well, the Glee Project is an annual event that happens in our school. Is a very entertaining show where 9th grade students sing, dance and interact with the audience. Before the day of the show, the students have to choose a song, a name for the band, create a choreography and do a lot of rehearsals.

This is a veeeeeeeeeeery cool project because you can find your talents and creativity during the rehearsals, and  overcome your shyness at the show!

Certainly we have to work hard if we want to win, but is worth it because it's very cool and exciting!

So this is the Glee Project, and its UP2U guys!
